Chia yoghurt breakfast with nice cream

Breakfast is my favourite part of the day. In winter I tend to eat a lot of eggs, but in spring and summer I love making nice cream and layered yars. With the weather being so warm and sunny the last few days, my tummy starts to tingle again for some fresh fruity breakfast. Food like this isn't only yummy and filling, it also looks super pretty. And on top of that, it’s so easy to make. Read on for the recipe.

The ingredients:

  • 150 gr vanilla yoghurt

  • 1 tbs chia seeds

  • 40 gr quick oats

  • 6 frozen strawberries (depending an how big your glass is)

  • 1/2 frozen banana

  • 80 ml unsweetend almond milk

  • Chocolate and a strawberry to top it off

How to make it?

  1. Stir the chia seeds through the yoghurt and set aside for at least 4 hours. For the best result you make the chia yoghurt the night before. Right before you eat it:

  2. Layer the oatmeal on top of the yoghurt;

  3. Mix the frozen strawberries with the frozen banana and the almond milk. If it doesn’t mix properly just add a little bit more milk to it. If it’s too much milk or your mixture isn’t enough for your glass, then add some frozen strawberries;

  4. Layer the mixture on top off the oatmeal;

  5. Top it off with some chocolate and a strawberry;

  6. EAT!

It’s so easy to make, it would be silly not to. You can also eat it as a snack or as a dessert. And it is healthy!Would you eat this for breakfast? Do you have any ideas for a delicious brekky?
