I love going on holiday, from city trips to beach holidays to road trips, ... And in 2017 I'm planning to see a lot of (new) places, I've already got my first trip to Amsterdam booked. Fun fun fun times! But before you can go on holiday you need to pack your bags, which isn't always easy. You don't want to bring too much stuff, especially for short trips and you don't want your beauty and make-up take too much space (and kg's) that could be used for clothes and shoes, but you obviously can't leave without them either. In this post I will show you my travel essentials beauty wise and will give you some tips to safe some space.

In the picture above you can see the beauty products I take with me on a trip. Not in the picture, but also always in the travel beautycase: sleeping mask, earplugs and a hair donut. Making this post I noticed that I tend to take a lot of products for my hair. I do think it's one of the things that should be on point, especially on holiday when you want to take a lot of pictures, so I guess I just want to be prepared for all kind of occasions (and weather).

Tips:

1. Try taking everything in travel size packages. A lot of products have smaller packages for traveling available these days. this takes up less space and if you're e.g. flying with only hand luggage these products can go through customs.

2. If you can't find travel side packages, put some products in an empty travel kit. My shampoo and conditioner are quite big bottles, so I definitely put them in the two dispensers. I bought my travel kit at Hema, but you can find them in a lot of stores.

3. Take samples with you. When you buy products in a perfumery you can also find samples quite often. Of course these probably aren't the products you normally use, but if you're going away for a short trip, then samples are a good option.

4. If you normally use an electric toothbrush, then buy a regular one just for traveling. It take less space and you'll survive without you're electric one for a short while. And then you also don't have to worry about batteries or a plug.

5. If you're staying at a hotel, then you can find shampoo, conditioner and soap in your bathroom. Lately I've noticed that the products that they put available for you are of quite good quality and a lot of times even biological. You can also take these packages back home with you form later travels.

So these are my tips for packing a travel beautycase, I hope you guys like it and find it useful. And if you got some tips for us then comment below!
