Highlighter MAC - Soft & Gentle

For a while now I use the highlighter Soft & Gentle from MAC. I got this tip from Marijke. I was looking for something that stays in place for a couple of hours, because often it disappears and the end of the night and that’s disappointing.

I’m fascinated by the color of it. It’s shiny with a little bit of bronze and gold. Every girl loves something shiny! I don’t use highlighter every day. Mostly when I go out. For my work it isn’t nessesciary to put on a lot of make up. So what is my make up routine when I go out? Read on below!

1. Every morning, I wash my face with warm water. I cannot put on make up before I do this!

2. Next I put on my day cream from Biotherm. The name of this cream is Plumping. It’s a very light texture. A sort of gel. I don’t like a cream that feels greasy. I also use the Plumping version because I’m 27 years old and I have to think about wrinkels :D ! My skin feels super soft after applying.

3. Secondly, I use my BB cream Nude Magique from L'oréal Paris. This cream has a light colour. It mimics the texture and glow of a perfect bare skin.

4. Under my eyes I use a concealer camouflage cream from Catrice cosmetics. On top of that comes the prep and prime from MAC. I have dark circles under my eyes so I can definitely use this!

5. I don’t like foundation. When I use it, I have a feeling that my skin cannot breathe and that I’m wearing a “mask” . So I use defining powder from MAC. I put this on with a brush and I feels very light!

6. For my eyes I mostly use a black eye liner from L'oreal Paris. When I use a cheaper version I see that it runs out and after a while you look like a Panda !

7. On my lashes I use the fantastic Benefit , they're real! Lengthening mascara. I absolutely love it! It makes my lashes super long.

8. After that I use the bronzer from Gemey Maybellinne for contouring.

9. For a healthy look I put a little rouge on my cheeks. For this I use the color peaches from MAC.

10. Last but not least I use the highlighter Soft & Gentle. For this I use my fan brush! An absolute must!

I really love the products of MAC. I know it comes with a price but the quality is excellent! So it’s worth it!

You can buy it online or in a shop. I recommend to go to the shop because there are make-up artist who can help you with finding the right color!
