A woman's perfume tells more about her than her handwriting

A few weeks ago it was my birthday. It was the best day ever with lots of presents. One of them was the latest perfume from Marc Jacobs Decadence. It has a very luxurious smell. Marc Jacobs came up with the most awesome perfume bottle ever. It’s shaped like a little handbag.

The fragrance pyramid

Let's talk about the fragrance pyramid. The top notes are plum, saffron and iris. This is what we first smell when we apply the scent and lasts for 5 to 10 minutes. The heart notes become noticeable after 15 minutes and last for 1,5 to 3 hours. It consist out of Bulgarian rose combined with iris root and jasmine. Amber, vetiver and papyrus shake are the basic notes of this seductive odor. It becomes noticeable after 2 hours and will last for 8 hours. These are also the heaviest notes. Every single perfume is built up in this way.

The best places to apply perfume

What I like about this perfume is that it smells subtle and it smells like flowers. I’m not a fan of perfumes that are overwhelming. So this one is perfect for me!
